• Metal Flashing – Inspect metal flashing around vent pipes, chimneys, and roof joints for damage.
• HVAC Systems – Inspect for damage, leaks, or loose connections. If you notice a small leak coming from the ceiling of your bathroom and the HVAC is located above the living room, you may receive mixed messages regarding where the source of the leak is coming from.
• Roofing Damage – Any damage to your roof will require a roofer’s expertise. However, you can do some advanced scouting by searching for any damaged or missing shingles and for any dilapidated areas.
